Jansch plays "Angie"

Image
Bert Jansch plays "Angie". Primitive recording done in the kitchen, I think. Every guitarist's dream to "do an Angie". At least it should be!

Farenfox

Image
There is a city of bright blues and shiny whites on the edge of a still black sea. Farenfox. The numerous traders find it to be a city of wonder and miracle, but, above all, a city of gemstones. Flawless red rubies and sapphires from the Tesh mountains to the south. Emeralds from the numerous rivers that mouth into that black sea. Opals and topazes from far off lands across the oceans, brought by dawn clipper. Riches enough to buy armies, castles, ships, cities. Enormous wealth traded daily in the four great high-vaulted halls in the centre of the city. Attending the halls are four lowly guard houses, where eagle-feathered horsemen with curved swords patrol fountained courtyards. The adjacent great halls of gemstone trading face outward to an enormous square which contains the world's largest fountain; "King Seckor and the Blue Marlin". This work of in marble is studded with gems and selectively highlighted with gold and lapis lazuli.
